Help to Buy Valuations in Ipswich
When you come to sell, remortgage or release more equity in your Help to Buy home, Target HCA, the Government provider of Help to Buy loans, requires you to provide a Help to Buy valuation report from an independent RICS registered Chartered Surveyor.
An RICS Valuation is needed in order to work out the amount of deposit that should be repaid. Morgan Sloane carries out Help to Buy valuations that meet and follow the exact requirements of the scheme and inspect the inside and outside of the property.
Why do I need a Help to Buy valuation?
Whether you’re selling your property or staircasing, you will need an independent valuation so that Target HCA can determine the market value of your home and how much needs to be paid back on your Help to Buy property.
How do you make a valuation?
One of our Chartered Surveyors with local housing knowledge will pay a visit to your home to produce a Help to Buy report.
It is important to remember that the valuation is only valid for 3 months. After this time, there is a 2-week opportunity for you to request an updated ‘desktop’ valuation which will extend your valuation for a further 3 months.
However, we recommend holding off instructing a Chartered Surveyor until you are in a position to sell, remortgage or release more equity.
